||Facade Renovation in Shibuya Station Square
The facades that surround Hachiko Plaza, in front of Shibuya Station, are quite possibly the most effective advertising elevations in all of Japan. The task in this case was the renovation of the facade of a 40-year-old commercial building located on one corner. Because advertising here is highly valuable, we proposed a thick facade with integrated advertising equipment. This is a low-tech advertising facade that incorporates rotating vertical louvers between a double skin of high-permeability glass, which becomes the advertising medium.
